AUTOGI PACKER

The Autogi set is a simple packer to be used for temporary selective  zones  completion. The packer requires only a straight  down weight to automatically lock the the packer onto casing. Therefore, it requires no pressure or tension during setting process.

The tool can be run individually with on-off  connector and be landed  at  bottom (PBTD).  The Straddle type can be set at just on top of another Lock-Set type packer. The Autogi packer set allows better fluid sealing compare to cup type packer. At the setting point depth, the latch will automatically expand at the same time the rubber is inflated. Thus, there will be no damage to the packer during running in.   The latch system of the setting mechanism will eliminate failure setting and over setting compression.

The ARW's Autogi set is the concepts of cheapest and optimum improvement for abrasion problem instead of regular packer cups. 

Setting Procedures
Run the Autogi-Set down to the setting depth. If the straddle with Lock-Set type packer or another down hole tools  are hung underneath the Autogi, set the lower packer set first to provide some resistances,  then Autogi-Set will automatically  set and locked upon applying some weight down.
For individual application, the Autogi-Set will automatically set and locked when land at bottom (PBTD).

Releasing Procedures
While releasing the lower packer set, at the same time straightly pull the Autogi-Set up. The mechanical relaxation system of the packing element results on the Autogi-Set is easy to be pull out hole.

Applications:
The Autogi-Set can be applied as Temporary Bridge Plug, for Selective Production intervals,  Zonal production testing and Zone Isolation jobs.
